Who We Are

Chilume Ravikumar Foundation® is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Mr. Ravikumar K in 2013. Rooted in values of compassion, empowerment, and social equity, our foundation works relentlessly to uplift underprivileged communities across Karnataka and beyond. What began as a small initiative to educate and inspire has now grown into a multi-faceted movement committed to education, cultural preservation, women empowerment, rural development, and inclusive social welfare.

Our Founder

Ravikumar K, affectionately known as "Chilume Ravikumar," was born in the humble village of Kallanayakanahalli and raised with strong traditional values. A trained educator (D.Ed., BA) and passionate social reformer, his journey began as a teacher and motivator in Bengaluru. While working multiple jobs to support himself—including roles in hospitality, security, and government contracts—he never lost sight of his dream: to build a more just and compassionate society. Through perseverance and an unwavering sense of service, he assembled a team of like-minded individuals and founded the Chilume Trust (Education, Culture, and Rural Development). His work now inspires thousands and continues to transform lives, particularly among the marginalized and underserved.
